The Université du Mans or Le Mans Université is a French university founded between 1965 and 1977, located in Le Mans, in the Pays de la Loire region. Until 2017, it bore the name of the province of Maine, which corresponds to the departments of Sarthe and Mayenne. It has a main campus in Le Mans, Sarthe, and a second in Laval, Mayenne.

In 2020, the university will have some 10,000 students and 630 teaching and research staff, as well as three faculties, two IUTs and an engineering school, ENSIM. It also includes fifteen research laboratories, eight of which are associated with the CNRS. Disciplines taught include science, technology, literature, languages, humanities, law, economics and management. It has a center of excellence in acoustics, the Institut d'Acoustique Graduate School, with in particular the Laboratoire d'Acoustique de l'Université du Mans .

Since September 1, 2017, the University of Maine has been called Le Mans Université, and the Laval branch, Le Mans Université - Campus de Laval.
